At Movement Vitality, we understand the importance of precise alignment & safe movement. Unlike most studios, we don’t simply teach from the front and expect you to follow along. We partner with you during every class to make sure that:

  • You are moving & breathing well & with the correct form
  • Every movement in class is purposeful with a connection to everyday life
  • You leave with a greater understanding of the mechanics of your body
  • You know how to connect your practise on the mat to how you live day-to-day

I-Align

Iyengar Yoga is a form of yoga that emphasises the precision and detail of alignment. Expect to use the wall, and lots of props and move slowly and deliberately. Learn More

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini means energy. Kundalini yoga is a technology using a recipe of specific movement, combined with breath and meditation that is used to work on the chakras. Learn More

Yin & Restorative Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, passive type of yoga that incorporates long holds and deep breaths for a stretch that gets right into the muscle fibres.  Learn More

Pilates RX 

Designed to target your body’s deep stabilisers, this class targets your ‘core’ (including your hips, shoulders and even feet!) through creative, challenging movement. Learn More

Pilates Flow 

This dynamic class fuses classical and contemporary Pilates in a challenging flow to engage your deep core while connecting with your breath. Learn More

Mat Pilates

Roll Model® Method

This unique Roll Model® Method class breaks down the mechanics of breathing and “down-regulation” by revealing and re-patterning known and unknown chronic stress in our respiration muscles. Learn More

Smart Stretch

In combination with intelligent stretching and breathing techniques, we use novel mobility tools like Yoga Tune Up® Balls and Stick Mobility® Sticks to inform our very own bodies about how to move well. Learn More

Yoga Tune Up

Expect to spend an hour on the floor, beginning with therapeutic stretches for the feet and ankles and then moving on to warming up the hips and core prior to a deep, intelligent hip opening. Learn More

Literally salute the sun and get your blood flowing with gentle, fluid movement through a variety of postures in combination with breath. Learn More
